Range cookers
Freestanding range cookers put hob and oven in one unit that stands on the floor — the visual centre of the kitchen as much as an appliance.
What to check
- Width — 60 cm is compact, 90 cm the common size, 100–150 cm gives two ovens and up to seven zones.
- Zone type — gas, induction or a combination; wider models often add teppanyaki or a fry-top.
- Extraction — the hood should be at least as wide as the cooker.
- Colour and lead time — ILVE offers dozens of finishes; made-to-order colours take longer, so plan for it.
