Wine coolers

A wine cabinet solves what an ordinary fridge cannot: temperature, humidity, vibration and light all at once.

What to check

  • Zones — one zone suits long-term storage at 12–14 °C; two or three let you serve red and white at their own temperatures.
  • Capacity — measured in Bordeaux bottles — Burgundy and champagne are wider, so real capacity is 20–30% lower on a mixed collection.
  • Installation — built-in models vent at the front and must not sit in a sealed recess.
  • Glass — UV-protected glazing matters if the cabinet gets daylight.
