Bathroom taps
A bathroom has three or four taps. Choosing them from one range is the simplest route to a room that looks considered.
What to check
- Basin height — a countertop basin needs a tall spout, an inset basin a low one — measure before choosing.
- Concealed or exposed — concealed gives the cleanest line but needs an in-wall body decided before tiling.
- Thermostatic — holds shower temperature steady when water is drawn elsewhere — worth it with children.
- Finish — chrome forgives hard water; matt black and bronze show marks more.
