Short answer. 2. A 45 cm dishwasher
The Miele G 5790 SCVi SL is a fully integrated 45 cm dishwasher. Miele's datasheet lists 9 place settings, 44 dB(A) and energy class C, plus an extra-quiet programme at 40 dB(A). Miele describes it as a space-saving dishwasher for compact kitchens.
- Niche: 450 mm wide, 805-870 mm high, 550 mm deep. The appliance is 448 mm wide.
- Connection: 230 V, 10 A fuse, 1 phase. A hot-water connection is possible. Supply and drain hoses are 1.50 m each, the mains lead is 1.70 m.
- Door: with the door open the depth is 116.5 cm.

3. A compact oven
Compact ovens, combi-steam ovens and combi-microwaves in our compact series are 45 cm high units. According to our listings, they sit in a standard 60 cm wide cabinet. NEFF states that compact appliances are particularly suitable where space is limited.
The Gaggenau BM454100 combines a microwave and an oven. Gaggenau lists 36 l, five microwave levels (1000, 600, 360, 180 and 90 W), four heating methods, a full-surface grill with up to 2000 W and 15 automatic programmes.
- Total connected load 3.1 kW; the connection cable is 1.5 m without a plug.
- Gaggenau says the mains socket needs to be planned outside of the built-in niche, and the niche is planned without a back wall.
- The door hinge is not reversible.
- The niche size is not on the product page: take it from the installation instructions.

4. A domino hob
A domino hob is a narrow module with two cooking zones. The Gaggenau Vario 200 modules are 28 cm wide and are joined with a connecting strip (VV 200). Model VI232121 has two flex induction zones of 21 x 19 cm each, which can be linked into one 21 x 38 cm zone. Each zone gives 2200 W, boost 3700 W, per Gaggenau.
Cut-out sizes need care, because the sources differ:
- Gaggenau's US planning notes give a 28 cm unit an appliance width of 288 mm and a cut-out of 268 mm. Two units joined with the connecting strip give 581 mm overall and a 561 mm cut-out.

5. An under-counter fridge
The Miele KU 7030 D is built under the worktop. Miele lists a niche 600 mm wide, 820-880 mm high and 560 mm deep, and an appliance size of 597 x 818 x 550 mm. Usable capacity is 124 l, noise 32 dB(A), energy class D, climate class SN-T. It connects to 220-240 V, 10 A. The door is a pull-out front, with a maximum door front weight of 10 kg.

6. Mini kitchen modules and sink tops
The Pyramis MK models are freestanding units with a sink; the Pantry models are sink tops. Everything below is from our own product pages; we could not confirm it from Pyramis.

Our MK pages contradict themselves about the hob: one line says the unit is delivered without hot plates, another lists two. Check the product page for the exact equipment before you order.
7. Planning advice from manufacturers
- NEFF describes a single-line kitchen as ideal for small households of 1-2 people, and suitable for small and narrow rooms.
- Miele's design blog says appliances dictate a large part of a compact kitchen and that simple, flat doors work best. It also suggests light door fronts with dark flooring to make the room feel bigger.
8. Checklist before you buy
- Measure the niche in width, height and depth, and compare with the maker's niche figures, not only the appliance size.
- Electrics: the Miele G 5790 SCVi SL sheet states 230 V with a 10 A fuse, the Miele KU 7030 D sheet 220-240 V and 10 A, and the Gaggenau examples list connected loads of 3.1 kW and 3.7 kW. Always follow your model's installation instructions.
- Socket position: some built-in ovens need the mains socket outside the niche, and the Gaggenau cables above are supplied without a plug.
- Water and drain: plan the positions before the cabinets are ordered.
