Every dishwasher we carry is fully integrated — the front panel is completely covered by the kitchen cabinet door, with the control panel visible only along the top edge of the door when it's closed. The choice comes down to sizing, place settings, noise level, and a couple of genuinely useful extras.
Should I choose a 60 cm or 45 cm dishwasher?
60 cm is standard and typically holds 13–14 place settings — enough for most households. The narrower 45 cm model typically holds 9–10 place settings and is common in smaller kitchens or as a second dishwasher (e.g. a separate one for glassware, next to the main unit). The cutout dimension is model-specific, but there's practically no difference in width itself — both fit a standard cabinet opening.
Standard or XXL height — which should I choose?
Same width, different height — the XXL variant gives real extra capacity and often a third basket.
Most models come in a standard 81.5 cm height, which fits a standard 82 cm kitchen cabinet. Some manufacturers (e.g. Miele's XXL range) also offer an 86.5 cm version — 5 cm taller for genuinely more capacity, often with an extra third basket for smaller items. Check before ordering whether your kitchen cabinetry is already sized for standard height or has room built in for the 86.5 cm version — changing cabinet height after the fact is expensive.
What noise level matters for everyday use?
Quieter models sit around 38–42 dB(A) — meaning the machine can run even when the kitchen and living room are open-plan and people are in the room at the same time. Check the product page for the specific dB(A) figure, not just the energy class — the two don't always go hand in hand.
What are dosing systems?
Some premium models (e.g. Miele with the AutoDos PowerDisk system) dose detergent automatically in the right amount for each cycle, without needing a tablet added every time — a PowerDisk cartridge typically lasts several weeks depending on use. A convenience feature, not an essential one, but a real everyday difference if you often forget to add a tablet.
